COVID-19 Accommodations/Discounts
Our entire world has been affected by this pandemic.  While some were able to keep their income and have more time at home with their families, others lost some or most of their income and others even lost loved ones.  We are giving discounts and added scholarships to families this year.

Scholarships

We are so blessed to live in a state that helps families who want to send their children to private schools. Although for some of you the cost is high, there are very, very good scholarships available for all who need it.

1.TOPS for Kids

Arizona has a option for its citizens to be able to give their state taxes to any school they choose (up to $2000) Parents enroll their students in the TOPS for Kids Tax Credit Scholarship Program and fill out the donor form. Many students have been able to get their tuition paid off just by finding enough people to give their tax donations.  And the beauty is that the donors are not really giving thier own money; they are only transferring  their taxes to the school instead of the sate.  Parents and church members all can help the students with their tuition with this simple change in their finances.

2.AAA Scholarship

This is a very good scholarship given to students coming from public school, entering Kindergarten or transferring from another STO. It is “first come first serve,” so parents need to keep checking to enroll.  There is a wait, but AAA usually gives full scholarships that can be used for years, so it is worth the effort of enrolling.

3. Church/Sponsor Help

For those families needing more assistance, your local church/church members are often willing to help support Christian Education.

4.YDCA Volunteer Scholarship

Parents who are willing to invest time in helping with school needs on a regular basis can receive this scholarship which is $50-$100 per month.  This can be on or off campus.

5. YDCA New Student Scholarship

This is a one time scholarship to help families with the transition of changing to private school.  The student needs to fill out application and pay enrollment fees.  The scholarship gives the student 3 months free tuition (September, January and May).

6. Student Work Program

High school students can work some hours at the school.
